We accept payments in US dollars by PayPal and direct bank transfer.

PayPal Payments

PayPal is the world's leading online payment provider. The PayPal system lets users pay using multiple sources including bank accounts, credit cards and debit cards all the while ensuring that their personal and financial details are kept confidential and secure. As well as all this PayPal offers a robust and transparent dispute resolution process that ensures that merchants are accountable for their conduct.

When a customer is ready to make a payment we send a PayPal money request to the email address provided by the customer, ie. the email address the customer is registered to PayPal with.

Bank Transfers

If a customer prefers not to use PayPal we can also accept payments via direct bank transfer. With bank transfers the customer must initiate payment themselves using their bank's facilities. All bank transfer processing fees need to be covered by the customer and not deducted from the amount to be paid to Industrial Radio.

For bank transfers customers will need to contact us to obtain our bank details.

Unless a Fretsense™ instrument is in stock we ask the customer to pay a deposit.

Orders are cancellable and in such cases we will refund the deposit within 14 business days.

Australian Customers

All payments are to be made in US dollars except for Australian customers. For Australian customers we determine the current local price of our products at the time of ordering by converting the US dollar price to Australian dollars using the most recent US/AU exchange rate as published on the Reserve Bank of Australia website. We then add the 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax) to the price. Australian customers are asked to pay a AU$2000.00 deposit for either a PRO-4 MIDI bass or Solange 6 MIDI guitar and AU$1600.00 for a IR-P4.

Example. An Australian customer based in Sydney places an order on April 28, 2017. He/she wishes to purchase a IR-P4 MIDI bass for US$2450.00. We check the most recent US/AU exchange rate at the Reserve Bank of Australia website which is US$1 = AU$0.7475 (for April 28, 2017).

We calculate the ex-GST price*
US$2450.00 / 0.7475 = AU$3277.59

We calculate the GST
AU$3277.59 / 10 = AU$327.76

The total is AU$3605.35

* This example doesn't include shipping. For Australian customers we provide a shipping quote in Australian dollars which is added to the price before calculating GST.
